Story

A unique, relaxed, beachfront, dining experience. Fantastic menus - breakfast served until 12, the highlight being the 7 variations of the Eggs Benedict. An extensive lunch and dinner menu caters to everyone's needs. Alcoholic drinks served from 10am.

Live music every Sunday (3-6pm) is the highlight of the week. And the full moon dinners $25 for dinner and dessert and live music really hits the spot.

This place was recommended to me as a quiet place for a meal along the beach. I had friends in town so decided it was the perfect chance to check out Strait on the Beach. I went on a weekday so it was quiet. We ordered at the counter and took a seat. Service was good, food was well prepared, and the view is unmatched. This is worth a stop if you’re on your way up or down the coast and looking for a meal. I will definitely be returning.

Other than a location like something out of a tropical dream this simple, do-all (including a petrol bowser out Front) set-up is filled with a super friendly and easy going family that make a great selection of food from breakfast to dinner. Spend a full lazy day here some time and divide your day between the Cafe, bar, beach and netted ocean.
