Story

The first Squires Loft was opened in 1992 in Church Street Brighton. Our reputation for consistently delivering great steaks and unique flavours led us to a larger store in South Yarra where we are still located today.
The success of the Squires Loft formula and demand for Squires Loft branded products led to substantial interest from staff, customers and business owners who wanted to duplicate the business. This has resulted in 15 steakhouse restaurants operating around Australia.
These steakhouses are located around Melbourne, Country Victoria, Brisbane, Gold Coast and Western Australia. Further steakhouses are in the pipeline and there is significant interest, which we believe should lead to more Squires Loft steakhouses opening.
As a result of this demand and significant recognition of the Squires Loft name, Squires Loft FRANCHISE Pty Ltd has been formed to enable the expansion of the brand.

I have visited all the Squires Lofts and Rare Steakhouses in Melbourne and they're all deliciously good. My default choice is always the pork ribs... So succulent and delicious, it falls off the bone. Pair it with their creamy garlic sauce and you're set for a tasty meal!

We went back to the waterfront branch after a couple of years. The steaks are usually excellent at this branch but on the night we went the chef must have been off his A-game. Some were under done and mine was definitely over cooked. They were still very good steaks compared to just about anywhere else but below their own usual high standards. I think we'll stick to the Albert Park branch from now on. They are consistently excellent.

Amazing experience! The service from when we walked through the door till when we walked out was exemplary. Entree of lemon pepper calamari was superb and the half rack of beef ribs was cooked to perfection. The wait staff were very good and didn't miss a beat. Could not recommend more

Worst service of my life my friend was treated like a dog after simply enquiringly about a steak that was improperly cooked and very dry. The waiter kirk was very disrespectful and non caring for customers paying a lot of money for food. Especially when we were very polite when simply asking about the food.

I never truly knew how good a steak could be until coming to this place. Its on a completely different level, a class of its own!..... Recommend the Ribeye on the bone. So sweet and succulent!!
