Kind staff i let them know i was new to sewing and i have been getting lots of good advice around fabrics from the staff as well as the info around the store makes it so much easier for me to find what i want when i still am unaware of the proper terms for certain things. Great experence overal. Since writing this reveiw ive removed one star... This is not for the store itself but the parking has recently changed from 90 miniutes to 60. I now struggle to find everything i need within that time frame. I think im going to have to switch to buying from ither retailers online as i am only willing to pay the extra spotlight charges if i can see the product before buying it under the new time limits i cant shop effectivly making it illogical to continue going and paying to veiw the product without having enough time to make my purchacing choice.
i purchased helium balloons on valentines day, they were on special, i expected them to last 3 days as i thought they were made especially for the day. 1000% surprised and happy as they are still floating 2 weeks later!! def will be back for special occasions
Shopped at spotlight on 3rd January at your boxing day sale. I received ed a $ 65 dollar fine for parking in your carpark for around 90 mins even though I was shopping in spotlight not elsewhere. One hour of parking is insufficient for this type of store. Especially during the holiday sale period and the aggressive management of smart compliance management is unfair at this time of the year. I have spent hundreds of dollars with your company only to be stung with a parking fine for doing so. Other parts of coastlands allow at least two hours of parking I think you need to come in line with this or you will lose business as you have lost mine.
Very dishonest response from spotlight. They make you believe in the responses to the google review that they will discuss the matter. Be aware this is not the case they prefer to hide behind the fact that they do not control the actions of the parking enforcement company although they work for themnnThey say contact our customer service but when done they just wash their hands and say not our issue.nnDo not go to spotlight as they seem to dislike their customers Would not shop here again.nnAfter shopping at spotlight for two hours we have twins we got stung with a parking infringement. The company that spotlight hires is very aggressive and is dishonest in their communication. You would expect spotlight would be happy with customers that shop for long periods but as they hire a dishonest parking enforcement company it is difficult to recommend them
Never enough staff on the tills, and whenever you take a voucher in they need manager approval which slows everything down, I went in for a click and collect which should only take a minute or two and it took 25 minutes because people had vouchers and refunds and nearly every customer need the manager to come over and verify their transaction. This was ridiculous, best getting it couriered to your house, it'll be better for you mental health
