Countdown Paraparaumu

My elderly dad popped into this store on a quiet evening a few days ago - unfortunately he fell over sustaining mild injuries. The staff were amazing, not only did they arrange medical care, but the next day they telephoned him & organized for delivery of those few items he intended purchasing. Your care for him was very kind & so very much appreciated. Thank you!

Another very good Countdown Supermarket with a large selection of fresh and frozen groceries. The store is well stocked with a bakery and deli. Added to this is a lotto outlet.

Lovely friendly staff, always up for a laugh or a joke and very engaging with the customers. Their attitude makes it a pleasure to shop here.

An established niche. Yesterday the mince I bought was very fatty. Staff service needs addressing as the standard is mixed, some very ho hum, others great.

Since posting my first review I have bought goods quite often. I appreciate the help with time - if I am unwell - or too busy. Since I moved to Waikanae I have appreciated the help from Countdown Paraparaumu. They are quick - and trustworthy. I'm too old to carry 2 bottles of lemonade, Handy Andy, and a litre of milk very far. To start with, I had a difficult battle with the website. Now it all goes like clockwork. Thank you Countdown! With planning I can accommodate your minimum ceiling of $50.00 per order!! Glad you send no substitutes.

I went there to get Buns and some things for lunch to my Parents house, in Parparumu The Service was very good and as I don't like shopping much the people there are friendly and Professional,.

I was delivered a past use by date product and went through Olive and within twenty four hours I had email with confirmation of refund. But more, the lovely local Paraparaumu Countdown is delivering a fresh product today free of charge. Everyone makes mistakes and in this stressful time with covid mad weather flu and money worries it is so much easier to miss something. But making the time to call me today to apologise was great and to offer a free product is great service. So five stars to the local Countdown staff who rang and thanks and five stars for countdown and its delivery system. As an immuncompromised person I couldn’t survive without you Countdown. Thanks to to the delivery guys who have always been polite and friendly
