Lovely store that excels when it comes to picking up freshly made ready-to-eat meals and sides, and stocks everything else you might need. Just a very small request ... please consider stocking a few gluten-free lunch items for people to buy on the go. I used to get the sushi, but now it's all covered in teriyaki sauce, can't :-
Called into store today. Purchased some muffins because the fruit cakes weren't fresh. They had a best buy of 19th, so were six days old, the best buy dates are so small now, that you need a magnifying glass to read it. Also purchased some gurnard which when taken home, had a very fishy smell. Fresh fish shouldn't smell and would have been rejected by a sushi shop
Not my usual New World store but I couldn't get a product at my store so went there. It's a larger store than Waikanae so more choice. The staff were super helpful.
They don't allow you to carry your groceries out to the car with the baskets. Makes you feel why do they have them then? And why I am spending my money at a place that treats me like a thief. Go to a place that does not make you feel like this rather...just my 2 cents.
Awesome supermarket so much choice and so superior to any other ones I have seen
