I went to your store on Tuesday 28 th May. Asked the paint lady for a white test pot. She said she didn't have any. I asked why, but she didn't have a valid answer. She suggested that she could make me up a litre at $46. I refused as a test pot was $5. 38. She said she could order it one. She said they come in on Thursdays. So assuming I was only going to wait two days,I agreed. On the Saturday I rang and they said it would take 8 to 10 working days WHAAAAT!!!! I GOT A TEST POT FROM BUNNINGS IN 10 MINUTES! I wrote to the manager/ owner and advised that their test pot wasn't needed. No response from manager, so assumed he either didn't get it or dismissed it. I asked him why the paint lady could make a litre, but not a test pot. Bunnings can!!!! Still waiting for a responsennP.s. test pot turned up at Mitre 10 on the 10th June.nngoing going to have to wait for two days
Very helpful staff I love the cafe there Thanks for being dog friendly it would be awesome if you had trolleys that were designed for dogs only were you had a caged top on them so other customers couldn’t just walk up to your dogs. Why you were busy not all dogs like strangers in there space.
Came in for a few bits and pieces but ended up leaving as was too warm in the store. Seemed to be a few fans around but don’t think they would do much in this heat. Not sure how the staff can bare to work in that heat or be expected to. In comparison went into New World across the car park and that was lovely and cool. Fix your air con guys. Look after your customers and staff.
Popped in to order a special fireplace and brought the dog in with she's well behaved. Had a draconian of a worker fire up and say dogs have to be put in a basket and cared around. There are other places to shop with your dog if you're looking to spend money. Placemakers and bunnings don't have a issue with well behaved dogs on a lead.
I have had many visits to this store. The staff are always friendly and super helpful. It is always clean and well laid out. Great selection of gifts also which we don't have in my local Porirua store. The only thing I would suggest is having signage regards having to either carry your dog or put it in a trolley. On a previous visit I took my small dog in on a lead and was never questioned. Recently I was approached and advised dogs had to be carried or in a trolley despite my seeing 3 much larger dogs walking around the shop on a lead - dogs are allowed to walk on lead in the Mitre 10 at Porirua - so it is confusing as obviously a different policy here. That aside - keep up the good work!
