19 Feb I purchased a plan which included a new iPhone. I was asked if I also wanted to purchase a glass protector which they kindly put on for me. As it was an extra, I had to make a separate payment for the protector - I paid by credit card. The assistant said I could go online and activate the 3 year warranty - I said I would do that and did I need proof of purchase i.e. the till receipt but they said no I didn't so he didn't give me my copy. Went home to register and found I did need the receipt number as proof of purchase. Went back in to Coastlands Vodafone to ask for a copy and was meet with a very condescending assistant who said "I don't know why you would want to do that as in all her 3 years of working for Vodafone, she had never heard of anyone registering for the warranty and never bothered to tell people to do it" I then asked if I could have a copy of the receipt as I knew the amount, date and time of purchase. I was told no they wouldn't do that because they'd have to go back through all the sales in the shop and that I don't need the warranty anyway as it's not like they'd replace the protector screen. Apart from being terrible Customer relations/support what other products does this assistant put people off!

I wanted to purchase a phone; tried 3 times between 1.30 and 3 today, queues each time, no-one on shop floor to ask. I gave up! This isn't an isolated experience; I've had queries a number of times and had the same problem. Just about ready to go to 2 degrees!

Small store and sometimrs have to wait if busy but staff really helpful.

We ordered an iPhone 7 and got told that there was none in stock, in any colour, so they'd have to order it from the Wellington store. We went back 2 days later and they hadn't ordered the phone. The staff were also unsure of the status of the order. Very disappointing.
