Nice little cafe on Sheridan Street, opposite Munro Martin Parklands. Shop seems to be hidden in plain sight, outside looks simple, but inside is a very interesting delicatessen that sells some great looking delicacies. Coffee was great. And the toasted sandwich was excellent. Plenty of seating on footpath, most out of the sun. Some seating in the aircon cooled inside space. A complimentary sparkling water was offered to me at the end my meal. This was a very nice touch .
Friendly, speedy service with great value, delicious food. Couldn’t ask for more opposite the apartment we are staying in for the week. Keep up the great work!
Vegan wrap was top notch, coffee was pretty good and the service was pleasant. The aesthetics of the cafe are simple and don't try to more anything more than a simple cafe with delicious homemade tasting food. I will be eating there again. Highly recommend the wraps.
We finally had a morning with no plans and decided to go have a nice breakfast. Spoons was close to where we were staying, in an area not flooded with tourists and had great reviews. True to what others had said, this place was phenominal! They were alright. My partner had the egg and bacon roll. Much much more appetizing than mine. I love their homemade juice.
Arrived 12 noon just wanted toasted sandwich and a cup of coffee told we would have to wait 20 minutes before we could have our meal looked around there were only 4 people in the Cafe that had already eaten offended that we had to wait that long we walked out.looked like they were doing catering.in this day and age of covid 19 they would be glad to have customers. We will not go back if you want a meal go somewhere else.
nice staffs and reasonable price but it takes some time to get served
Great place: don't judge a book by its cover. From the outside this cafe appears, like it's surrounding shops, well-being, used, past it's sell-by date. Don't be fooled, go in, have a drink. Better yet buy a meal. The staff are friendly but not pushy, the service is timely. I ordered the fish and chips, there is only one choice of fish - barramundi - but you can have it batterered, crumbed, or grilled. My fish portion was twice as large as any comparable portion from my local Brisbane shops. It was succulent, excellently cooked and presented, and it came with a huge portion of tasty chips and a light salad. All told, I highly recommend this cafe.
Always a solid place for brunch. The food is decent & the mimosas are a good size. It's very quirky inside with the furniture & decor. I enjoy sitting at the bar, as the tables can be a bit of a wait.
The best fish burger in Cairns hands down. The sandwiches are delicious and the chips have a delightful seasoning. Portions are fantastic and staff are great.
I used Spoons catering for a corporate lunch and I couldn't been happier with them. They were always friendly and helpful, the catering were delivered on time and the food was fantastic! Great presentation and amazing flavours. Will definitely use them again.
