I recently stopped by the Coffee Club for breakfast and was pleased with my experience. The eggs benedict I ordered was cooked to perfection - the eggs were perfectly poached and the hollandaise sauce was rich and creamy. The coffee was also top-notch - it had a bold flavor and was served at the perfect temperature. I was also impressed with the service I received. The staff were friendly and efficient, ensuring that my meal was delivered to me in a timely manner. The restaurant itself was clean and inviting, with comfortable seating and a welcoming atmosphere. Overall, I had a great experience at the Coffee Club and would definitely recommend it to others. Four stars!
Coffee is okay, usually forget the sugar but ease fix. However, had my first brunch here the other day and the cup they gave me was not clean attached photo. They did replace it. Food was okay but not worth the price, all up was $60. Ordered 2 eggs Benedict’s, one salmon and one bacon, hash browns with ice tea.
Ordered an iced coffee today via their app to the table and it took over 1/2 hour to arrive and when it did the girl slapped it on the table and then walked off. I then witnessed another staff member yelling at a poor old man because their staff had delivered his food to the wrong table. She was screaming at him it was not her problem that his food had been eaten by someone else. Their customer service definitely leaves a lot to be desired to say the least.
I ordered the chicken caesar salad and said 3 times that I don't want cheese. I always make certain the operator has understood my request. No, it came out with cheese and when I asked it to be done properly it was returned with no cheese, but the fresh grilled chicken on the previous plate was replaced with dry chicken. Terrible service reaching over the table to hand me the plate instead of coming around to my side of the table.
Got eggs Benny and ate some bacon and half an egg, plus the ONE cherry tomato on my pate as it was advertised to come with ‘tomatoes’. Couldn’t eat it as the whole meal was drowned in hollandaise sauce and made me feel Ill. Was charged $24. Will not be back.
Service: training is needed for wait staff to ensure they communicate with customers when serving customers - check ordered food is given to the right customer. Staff interpersonal interactions with customers needs to improve; rolling of eyes when politely informing the waiter/ress that teaspoon is dirty. Sending another waiter with a clean spoon, offering no apologies for the dirty cutlery. Health & hygiene is an issue as teaspoons appear to not have cleaned well. We’d like to support local businesses/franchise but with the experience, it’ll be months before I dine and give my hard earned money to The Coffee Club - Cairns Central Note the positives: there were a few junior staff who brought some positivity to the place. Food ordered and served in good time. Kid-friendliness:
Absolutely Terrible.... Big breakfast comes with 1 over cooked poached egg that would bounce it was that hard and over cooked. Cairns central is the worst coffee club I have been too..... I have never seen only 1 small egg with a big breakfast especially for the high price. Waitress rude
Don’t go there if you’re hungry. Or thirsty. Just don’t. I ordered two sandwiches and two Pepsi max through the app at the table. Paid in full. 10 minutes later, I was told no Pepsi max or other diet soda available so they brought water. Not a great start. Little did I know that it would take another 25 minutes for my sandwiches to arrive. 35 minutes for 2 sandwiches. Food was ok but certainly not worth that kind of wait. The staff walks around like headless chicken apologising to everyone about the wait. Everyone looks desperate for some food. It’s not good. Avoid.
AVOID!!!!!!!!! AVOID!!!!!! AVOID!!!! Been to coffee clubs in south aus,. And none are run this poorly,. Wanted to buy some cake n food... but then told my friend n i we could only take away, we wer denied seating because we wer both holding boost juice container cups... trying to purchase food but cant sit n eat it? Happy to take the money but refuse to give a table n chair? not to mention they wer empty seats everywhere "makes sense now" place is below standard so end result we both got food else where... where do they expect us to eat, on the shopping mall floor? Paying customers blatantly refused service... yet see people just sitting at the tables not ordering anything with boost juice cups... very peculiar... with service that bad how do they even stay open? I understand if u had a store and it was store policy... but they are in the middle of a public shopping mall and it makes 0 sense and actually feels like discrimination over my purchasing choices which is none of their business while im trying to buy their product/food. Would give 5 stars for shi**t customer service...
Both service and food a simple cheese and tomato omelette were terrible. Zero interest in customers. It was not busy and it still took ages. It’s not the first time that I have been caught out here. Note to self - avoid.
