Had a wonderful lunch here and, although it was very busy, it was an enjoyable cafe to dine in. We ordered the steak sandwich & the chicken & avocado salad, both of which were delicious & plentiful in portion size. The only downside we encountered were the pigeons that were roaming the shop - a little disconcerting & not very hygienic hence only 4 stars. The wait staff were very attentive & polite and the service they provided was very professional.
Excellent service, visited on a Saturday morning busy and cheerful, fast service and helped me find a vegan takeaway option. As we were removing some dairy items the chef added olives and salad the best takeaway avo on toast I've ever had!! Everything warm and cooked well, feels like you can taste/ see the love and care in the food preparation both on display and brought out : Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and vegan options
My absolute favourite place for breakfast/brunch/lunch in Cairns city. Amazing menu, even better quality food for really good pricing. Can’t get enough of this place.
Visiting from Melbourne and came here for brunch. It was fairly busy so the food was slightly slow, we also had to walk up to order. No water was provided until we requested for some. Vegetarian Omelette was average but nothing special however, the calamari salad was oddly chewy and could of been cut smaller. Regards, The Eating and Drinking Cow
The food and coffee here is great! the service is always a 10/10 as well, very friendly staff who serve you with a smile We got the pancakes add bacon and the tomato and basil ciabatta toast topper - both very delicious
Fantastic service and amazing food and coffee. I could not make an order which cake was the bast. All cakes looked so nice.
In my opinion, this is the best restaurant in Cairns. I’ve eaten here 4 times now and the food and service always impress. Pictured is the Gnocci Lamb Ragu special from today
Rude guy at counter Generous size servicing for big breakfast Hash browns cold Baked beans out of the can Great view Very ordinary food and service
There is no table service, so you must wait in a queue to shout your order over the person ordering beside you, and the din of the kitchen. I ordered the big breakfast dish and chips on the side. The poached eggs were overdone, the bacon wasn't crispy, and the hash browns came out of a packet. The meal was very plain all around. The chips were better but the tomato sauce tasted like it came out of a drum. Unfortunately, you can do better for the same prices at most cafes around town.
The staff are lovely I’d give them 5/5. The scones tasted good. The tea was good. The menu didn’t have anything that caught my attention- so I went with Devonshire tea. Unfortunately the seating was uncomfortable and the tables were all squished close together so you have to move around people to get in and out. It’s a bit dated decor wise as well.
