Awesome cafe. Clean, small, tidy cafe with large number of options for breakfast and lunch. Usually gets closed at 2:30 pm in the afternoon. Food was good and the staffs were very polite. They even packed our meals on request. Highly recommend this cafe when you are around Cairns.
We called into Jamdrop Café Cairns for the first time on Thursday 20/10/22 for a late breakfast, service very good & served within 15mins, food well cooked & good presentation. Menu prices are reasonable. Only negative we found it very difficult finding a parking spot close by & almost gave up.
Chose the special with an extra sausage and it was super tasty and more than an ample serving. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive and although one of our orders was slightly incorrect we changed from toast to Turkish bread but didn't get the turkish, they quickly altered for us and were extremely apologetic. Yummy vege juice too. Highly recommend and very reasonably priced. Keep up the good work Jamdrop.
I have been in Cairns for the week and breakfast at the Jamdrop Cafe was a must do start to my day. The staff are really friendly, all the food is cooked fresh and the coffee is awesome. Thank you for making my week feel homely.
Popped in early for breakfast during the week. They are open early 06.30 which is great. Had bacon & eggs. Generous portions & the scrambled eggs were light and fluffy. The service was quick and friendly with cheery smiles. The coffee was also good. Would highly recommend.
Pleasant little cafe close to the medical precinct near the Cairns Hospital. Outside seating on the verandah is very pleasant , away from the hot spring morning sun, and enjoys the coral Sea breeze that sneaks in through Upward Street. Coffee was very good. The Orange Almond cake was very moist and sweet. Delicious. Great breakfast menu. Waitress very friendly.
Another delicious breakfast from the wonderful staff at Jamdrop Cafe. Located across from the Cairns Private Hospital in Lake Street, this cafe has never failed to deliver. The staff are very courteous and professional, the meal wait times are minimal and the food is always high quality.

Great place for a delicious breakfast. Fresh and tasty food at very good prices. The coffee is also very nice - the Barista really knows how to make a great cuppa. Friendly staff that are very customer focused. I really enjoyed eating at this wonderful little cafe.
Had a beautiful meal today at Jam Drop. By far the best quality food I have ever had at any cafe. The family that owns it were so nice to me and the staff too. You could really tell they actually care about their customers and treat you like family. Also very fair prices, especially for the fresh quality. I very rarely write reviews but really thought to because it doesn't get any better than this. Not surprisingly I could see allot of other happy customers there too. Thank you to the team there and you will certainly see me there as a regular from now on.
