I dine here a few times a month -- just often enough for the proprietor to remember my favorite meal items. I'm always greeted with a smile.  I specifically recommend the Mango Chicken and the Lamb Vindaloo, cleaned up with the garlic naan and washed down with a cold Coca-cola. That's my usual order.  The dining room is spotlessly clean, and the service is swift, elaborately courteous, and friendly. Prices are very reasonable. Recommended!

We planned to go to Koi another restaurant in Masterton last night but it was booked out. As an alternative, we went to Spices of India. It is not a fancy diner, but the food is very reasonably priced considering the food quality and service. We had a chicken and a lamb dish. Both were tender and tasty. We also love naan cooked in Tandoori oven. I would recommend it for an easy meal out with family and friends. Plenty of space inside. Takeaway is also popular.

Spices of India is located on Lincoln Road just off the main drag through Masterton. They served up really good food. Including their child-friendly butter chicken, which was excellent. The surroundings of the restaurant were pleasant, relaxing and vibrantly themed. The service was quick  responsive, friendly and helpful. We hardly had to wait at all. The prices were also very good. Overall, by far the best indian meal we have had in a while. I highly recommend this restaurant to all lovers of good quality Indian food.

Absolutely stunning food with great prices.  The service is so personal and thoughtful it's almost like being in someone's home not a restaurant.  This is one of the cleanest restaurants I have ever been in, this is the place other restaurants should strive to be like in regards to cleanliness.  My family loves this place, we highly recommend.  You must have the onion bahji.

Great place to go to for lunch or eating out in the evening.. Menu is great, caters for all diets. The food is absolutely delicious and the staff are so friendly and helpful.

Lunch is under $10, great selection of food for this price, each dish comes with rice.  Non & alcoholic, tea, coffee, fizzy drinks, water on tables Bathroom on site

Chose this restaurant best on the google reviews and absolutely loved it. Very friendly staff and good quality food. Must try their Chicken Patiala

Had abit of a hiccup with our order recently. Restaurant was really quick to rectify and seemed genuinely apologetic. The food was good. The naan so yummy!! Thank you.

Wefamily with 2 kids were on route to Martinborough so did a quick stop by for dinner at this restaurant...it was the best decision ever. Very tasty food. My personal favorite was the “Chicken Afghani”. The garlic naans were made to perfection as well. Great hospitality - felt very welcome. Highly recommended.
