I'm a member, I think the st kilda branch needs to accomodate pet owners with drinking bowl but that's all I can say about st kilda. They are friendly staff at st kilda. I wouldn't say the same for the Port Melbourne gym but then I only go to the port Melbourne one when st kilda is closed or it's after the st kilda gym is closed. Port Melbourne needs to upgrade their aerial as you can't watch anything whilst exercising which is annoying. I would probably pull membership and go elsewhere if I was a member with port melbs but st kilda is okay and the pool and sauna are a lovely addition. With so many gyms oz wide and especially here in melbs and all of them operating at the levels they are I find it hard to give this particular franchise gym more than a couple stars. Again st kilda is very good but the other branches let them down badly.

I've been a member at this gym since it opened. I do prefer this one to St Kilda as it is smaller & more compact. Staff are friendly, session times are good but most of all I appreciate 24hr access.

South Pacific Gym us a lovely old building with loads of character and great views of the beach whilst doing your cardio. Plenty of equipment and machines and great space in every room with a variety of classes on offer. The bathrooms have a hotel feel about them, with hairdryers & hand lotion etc. The friendly staff made me feel very comfortable from day one since I moved into the area and offered great advice 😀

The location is a luxury to start with! Having the Port Philip Bay all to yourself while doing workouts takes my mind off the hard work! It's a smaller gym than St Kilda and Chadstone. However, it suits the local needs! I find it a bonus when a flash of the card earns me 10% discount at the local Hunky Dory Seafood shop along Bay St- the original Hunky Dory shop!!
