Very bad experience in the store. I felt totally fine when The female shop assistant came to us and ask if we need any help. Then a male came and asked again. That’s still fine. Things became weird when the same female shop assistant kept coming and ask if we needed any help. When my daughter and son carried the shoes they chose and we were still looking for some other shoes, the female asked if they would like to put them in the counter. I said they were happy to carry them. Then my daughter was trying on a pair of pink sandals which was only 29$ after the discount, she again said in a very blunt way that they have some 19$ sandals in the front and she could bring some to us. I said no and we could check by ourselves. I was very unhappy then but still controlled my emotion. And later when we were checking other shoes, she was always around us somewhere, which made me feel that she did worry that we could shoplift their shoes. I felt so embarrassed and angry that I did not want to continue shopping any more. I even did not want to buy the shoes we chose. But I considered we made so much effort and chose shoes my kids like and so I still paid for the two pairs with no discount. I was planning to buy at least another two pairs as these shoes did look very good. However. The female shop assistant ruined all my mood. What a bad afternoon!
This store has been restored, it's a little bigger and more organised now. There are more options with good sale prices. Also, the staff are very helpful, special thanks to Yasmine and Virginia.
Just a shout out to Yasmin and her team at the Skechers Brisbane DFO store. Warm greeting when I entered, exceptional attentive service and ended up buying 2 Gowalks. Thanks Yasmin…keep up the great work guys
I have been served in the store for 4 years, I buy shoes for children every couple of months, I have always been satisfied with the service and the quality of the goods. but the last 2 times was very disappointed with the staff. 2 months ago my daughter was told that she has large feet. she is 10 and she cried for a week because of this today the same seller said - oh, this is my shoe size !! my daughter is just broken. I think that this is not an acceptable attitude towards the buyer.
Some of the best customer service I've ever had in retail from the whole team today, the other two staff I saw in there were polite & friendly as I was browsing, but special thanks to Kassie-Lee name that was on my receipt. She was incredibly helpful and friendly. She was very knowledgeable on the products, and was able to find exactly what I was looking for and more. Great up-selling skills also hhaha. Would have given a cash tip but sadly she said they aren't allowed to accept tips. Outstanding! Thank you!
The person who assisted me was so helpful and patient despite the fact I didn't end up buying shoes from that store out of stock
Staff there were so helpful. One person in particular stood out unfortunately I didn't get his name. Helped us look for stock online as non in store, then went on further to order some shoes for my husband. Really appreciated the help, even though the store was super busy just greatful someone took the time to help. Used to work in retail so I get it. Thank you!
Nice shoes at good price, but horrible services. I was trying shoes, and a young lady came and said could you sit down for me please? So if I want to try shoes, I have to sit down? It’s just so weird! I was actually looking for shoes which could be put on easily, so that I don’t have to sit down. So disappointed :
One of the larger Skechers stores. Large range with alot of offerings you can't see elsewhere.
I looked around the Brisbane DFO shop for some time trying to find what I needed, and since no one approached me I decided to find a staff member for assistance. Two were chatting together so I politely waited until they finished their conversation. As I went to speak to them they both walked away and ignored me. I did the same and walked away to another shop to spend my money. I won’t be back for staff to waste my time. Edited additional: I emailed the company as per request and gave a full account of my experience. The reply was full of platitudes and cliches in the usual form letter. At no point did it make me feel like walking back inside the store.
