Mt Cootha is a fantastic place to walk around. There is easy trails and some great hilly trails you can go up. Most of the big hills are on the Gap Creek Road side (try Kokada) or the Chapel Hill side.

Nice picnic / barbecue area with ample grassy area for a small game of backyard cricket or similar. It looks almost purpose built for small gatherings or a park birthday. The walk is lovely for young families and fur babies. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
