I give it 4 stars out of 5. Totally great for families & couples to browse with so many rides for kids at heart. A whole shed of farm animals. Such as ducks, chickens & goats. Along the way you’ll also see live lizards & snakes. Beautiful birds to. We enjoyed show jump, competitive equestrian event with horses. There’s a lot to see. Friday of any year is the best day to go because they have fireworks, but you’d have to hang around until they come on. Great rides, and for though’s who love quad bikes, the show has them to. It’s really a good opportunity to see the Darwin Show if your in Darwin.
Dropped by the Royal Darwin Show for a short time this evening. Lots of people enjoying it all but only few masks being worn. Enjoyed the pavilions and the special carnival food. Well done to all the organisers behind the scenes and all the contributors!
Night market show, I love it, the game mostly scary games, I don’t have brave to try all of the games, only 3 games enough, that still make me crying hahaha, they sell food, and souvenirs, in closing day has fireworks, so beautiful, I enjoy this place so much, thank you
This was a great year to go to the show. There were not as many stalls and less rides but less people too. Short wait times for most rides but the prices have increased quite a bit from the last time.e I went. $10 for a dogwood DOD is simply ridiculous. Taste the Territory have some awesome drinks. Do yourself a favour and stop In for a refreshing icy cold drink near the rotary ticket sellers
Went here for the craft fair. Not accessible by bicycle!! It was very dangerous crossing the Stuart Hwy, this could definitely be improved!
The ground itself is awesome. The show however is over priced and not worth the visit unless you have someone competing in horses.
Went to the 71st annual Royal Darwin Show and had a great time. Heaps to see and do. Packed with people so bear that in mind. Loved looking at the birds and livestock. The horse jumping was fun too. Went on the Ferris wheel and enjoyed some of the carnival foods. Everything is quite pricy though! Also friendly reminder to clean up your rubbish, there was heaps of rubbish everywhere despite the rubbish bins generously supplied and being emptied regularly.
The Royal Darwin Show acted as a nice jaunt for the people of Darwin where they were able to enjoy polo, adventurous rides, succulent food, and buy things from an array if stalls and kiosks.
Darwin Orchid Festival...fantastic alot of orchids to buy good price range
Always going nearly every year, sad to see prices have gone up and there’s less stores at the show. Need to keep the show bag stalls outside and not in the pavilion where people want to walk past and not get hold up by other people that are looking at show bags.
