Crocodylus Park is well worth a trip to when you're in Darwin. The park centres on crocodiles but there are many other animals which was great to see. Meercats, monkeys, emus, ostriches, Wallabies etc It was great hearing from the young man that did the crocodile feeding at 10am and spoke about what they do, crocodiles in general and the crocodiles they have there. All of the other staff working with animals were very friendly and stopped to talk to guests visiting the park.
Tip: don't wear thongs, the deck was slippery and the concrete a bit sludgy when wet. But the experience was fantastic. The boat cruise is definitely worth it, the guide was informative and really knew her Crocs by name and behaviours.Visited onPublic holidayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Really good experience really fun day to spend walking around for a couple of hours a great place for a family outing! Only disappointment was staff said it’d be cheaper to get a family card but charged us the amount it’s cost for individual cards! Only reason we got family card was because thought it was cheaper from staff advice which was wrong and is now inconvenient as there is only 1 card so inconvenient if you want to go without other people as you need to pass the card around would’ve been better to get individual cards! Also cards took forever to post & what came was a cheap piece of laminated cardboard that was hand written that could’ve been done there and then instead of being posted!
Loved it... Especially the man made croc feeding boat cruise... Also they didn't have a separate line for online ticket people... so it doesn't matter if you buy the tickets online, you still have to wait.Visited onWeekendWait timeUp to 10 minReservation recommendedNo
The staff were lovely, very informative and humorous. We were able to get up close to crocodiles, dingoes, reptiles and other beautiful animals. Very easy to get around. My daughter was even chosen to feed a large adult female crocodile, she was so excited
Awesome place to visit especially for a guy that never saw crocodiles and many other animal species, wich I am extremely fascinated of. I loved the time there, and also the guide that we had on our lake trip, she's a brave beautiful girl, I admire her courage and dedication in taking care of such dangerous animals. If you're around the area, don't miss a trip to crocodylus park, you'll never regret it. You cam also buy some interesting crocs leather stuff like hats, belts, purses, croc teeth and many other wich are a bit expensive, but anyway.. Aaa, and I also had the ocasion of eating some croc meatballs, wich is not extraordinary, the taste is something like fish.
