On 9th December we landed here after the 2 hour flight via Qantas. The terminals are fully Air conditioned, people will survive chilly.

This airport is so small that one really cares if you sit or lay down anywhere you feel comfortable. Just please in a manner way. Anyways this airport has an open till late small cafe, an intimidiating xray baggage check before getting to hungry jacks food chain as well as all the rest inside the gate waiting area. Even if you just want to go to hungry jacks you still have to pass through that security check. Man it is scary as hell.

Very clean airport. Easy to return rental cars. Nothing much to shop and eat

Darwin airport is smaller than most in australia however its easy to get around and find what your looking for.Staff are very friendly.The airport is about 20 mins from darwin cbd so its not too far away.Great airport.
