Stayed in a cabin after flying in to Darwin. We arrived to collect our key after hours which was easy. Opening up our unit we were pleasantly surprised by the air-conditioning on and a nice cool room. The attention to detail and that extra mile taken made our stay truly memorable and such a nice experience. Room was super clean and beds comfy.nnThank you to the thoughtful staff. The extra service was noticed and appreciated.
We stayed on a powered caravan site. Nice park, great amenities, plenty of washing machines. Clean bathrooms. Only downside is being next to the airport there is not only the jets but also lots of military practice the noise is extremely loud but only through the day so you should be awake. It is kinda of cool though watching them.
As per other negative reviews our experience was the staff are extremely unhelpful, unaccommodating and rude. We are good mate members, having stayed in many discovery/gday parks however there is no point if you are not able to use the perks.nnThe facilities are relatively lack lustre and the caravan/camping sites are dusty with barely any grass. Camp kitchen simple and gets busy, crowded easily.nnDoes have a good gym however, about the only good thing I could see.nnExtremely disappointed with this park.
This is a large park. 2 pools, bit chilly though. An amazing, fully equipped gym. Decent sized sites. Camp kitchen with large oven and 5 burner cooktop. Nice front office staff. Our second visit here, would recommend for your Darwin stop off.
We stayed here for 4 nights, the staff were very friendly and helpful they even give us the site where We are near to the amenities. The park has 2 swimming pools, and a plenty of laundry and kitchen area to the whole park. During our stay we never had any problems like other people mentioned in their reviews. So thank you Discovery Park Darwin and keep up the good work
