We were not happy with the customer service. The person who attended to us was very condescending and as the first real "face" representing Darwin for visitors, it really gave me a bad first impression of this place. We asked about dangerous creatures or plants, we asked about internet signals when out in the bush and the risk of getting lost. we asked about if we need to check in with rangers... and to all these she rolled her eyes and even asked us what where did we come from. We are from Sydney eventhough we are of Asian descent... How is that question relevant? And after we let that slide we asked some more "traditional" questions. What can we do in Kakadu? But the whole time I felt she was trying to make us feel bad for not doing our own research first. As a customer service rep, you have to understand things from a visitors point of view. Not everyone has lived in Darwin all their lives and visitors concerns may be very different from yours.
