The buslink team are friendly and sweet. I travel on the bus reguarly with my twin boys in a pram and have always been welcomed with a smile and always found the bus to be clean and cool with very comfortable aircon. I am a giant fan of the bus service and think they are brilliant for $2 I can travel for three hours. bubs are free and I can walk on the bus with my pram. Making life easy for me to get back to work soon as I could. I think the bus system in darwin cas and palmerston is perfect. The only thing I would beg for is a public bus system that went further. I travel to marrakai and jabiru and would love if the bus service went there aswell. Darwin and alice springs are not the only place people live. I know the bus's would be full of cheery people going out to kakadu when they prieviously could only go if they owned a car. I think a regular shuttle every hour from darwin to jabiru (and batchelor )and back would be a genius way to bring the territory to people with out cars.
