A very lovely lady part of the staff helped me to choose the jewellery I wanted, they tried their best to get my purchase to have discount, and I actually got it. Very informative, polite, kind and helpful. Recommended!
Most horrible customer service I have experienced. wanted to buy a 9 ct ear rings. Waited in the shop from 12:50 to 01:25 today and no one tried to help. I went and asked a lady abt a ring and she said " wait I am busy". there were 2 other salesperson in the shop but no one came forward to help. My friends did warn me of this kind of behaviour. Will never go back to this shop again.
My wife went into Shiels late on Sunday 10/9/2022, to have links removed in 3 watches. States on website of watch that Shiels do this service. Not only did the staff refuse, the staff member then found the need to talk under her breath directed at my wife, which was witnessed by my daughters. Absolutely disgraceful. Went to Minit - the guys were busy, though not a problem. Even stayed past closing. Shiels Chermside - absolute disgrace.
Staff are rude and seem racist. Happy to serve “white” customers with a smile and quickly. Worst jewellery store in the Northside of the city and it doesn’t help that there storefront looks cheap giving cash convertors vibes.
Absolute worst jeweller in Brisbane. I bought a very expensive good quality gold necklace from this store and as I was taking it off like normal the clasp broke . They have taken it upon them selves to tell me what happened to it and came up with some scenario that was completely not true and are now charging $110 to repair my necklace that had a 60 day warranty. The staff here are disrespectful and not helpful in anyway. My poor mother has had to deal with this while I was at work. They have been disrespectful and rude to her and left my necklace sitting there for a week not fixed because they want to charge me for the repair. No one rang to tell us any of this and it was just left sitting there. I hope when I come in to collect my necklace they don’t try to charge me for the repair. I will be extremely upset if this happens. I will never shop here again and highly suggest no one else does.
Went to buy a gift for my wife, they charged me 70 bucks more then what the price was, I had my daughter with me so didn't realise, went back 2 hours later the lady said our sales change all the time, and told her it was purchased 2 hours ago, the manager had a look in the display and said refund 70 bucks and be done with it. At that point I decided to return the item and get a full refund. Won't go back there again just cause the manager has no people skills!
rude employees, came into the store and the employees completely ignored us, definitely noticed us come in and did not offer to serve us especially at a jewellery store where we can’t pick up and look at the products, another person came in wasn’t a customer but was a friend of one of the employees and they had a chat and giggle we felt completely neglected. 2 stars because we left with something nice so a good and a large range of products
Very unhelpful staff & I paid $1000 for a gold chain I had only had it for 4 weeks & the clasp broke. I contacted the store they said they couldn't help me even though it was bought at there store, I had to get online which is proving to be impossible so now I have to take it to another jeweller & pay to get it repaired. Will never shop there again.

Sold a “resizing plan” on a ring that was not resizable the staff member assured my partner at purchase the ring could be resized as I have a very small ring size. When I wanted to return the ring as I didn’t want any of the other rings the original ring was chosen as a gift from my partner the staff refused despite being within 3 days of the purchase date, having the receipt, the box and the ring as new. The staff also, after checking who originally made the sale said that this staff member the manager does this often, that they need her permission to do a refund and that they know that she would not agree to do it as it was her sale. Clearly this is a regular occurrence. I was pressured to select a different ring or accept store credit. A waste of $200 of my partners money for a ring that was horribly cheap quality.
