Buffet style hotpot, good there were full of meats I could have without limit, seafood isn't fresh, frozen quite long but it's understandable considering the price about $40 p/p. They also have skewer cooked straightaway once I picked, it was good charcoal flavor with Chinese spices on it. If you have already tried Sichuan style hotpot, you will be enjoying more. Customer service was also good, staff was kind and friendly.
Think I’ve found my fav restaurant in the western suburbs. It’s 38$ for all you can eat, and none alcoholic drinks are all included in the buffet. You can also eat skewers and fruits, they also had some cooked dishes available too. Fantastic range of choices, would definitely recommend.
This a really authentic hotpot in a obscure location in the suburbs.Came on a Wednesday night super quiet as one would expect. But staff were friendly, food was great, especially the grilled to order skewers the lamb was amazing and the inclusive drinks were an extra bonus. I like the plum juice. The staff refill your hot pot with stock when it's getting low. We stayed their for about 1.5 hours and few regulars came in. For an AYCE hotpot in the suburbs at $40 what more can you ask. 5 stars.

Great value and good food. Its a buffet with hotpot, mains, fried rice and noodles, grilled meat. Drinks are even included!
Overall a solid 4 out of 5. Pros: variety of Chinese dishes for hotpot, BBQ option choose various dishes and the chef BBQs the dishes for you, not a very common offer at most hotpots, a good selection of soups for the hotpot, unlimited non-alcoholic drinks, helpful guide for making sauces, clean and neat interior, customer service was good. Tastes good overall I would not say the best I've ever had though. Cons: prawn crackers were completely stale and inedible, some other dishes may also be a bit old as well but I didn't try absolutely everything. We went on a Monday night and was very quiet which may put some off just out group of 6 and 1 other customer from 5 to 630pm, but this was a Monday night Price: $38pp at time of posting, Jan 2021.
An affordable hotpot place, all you can eat meat included! hotpot ingredients, alongside some hot mains, like rice and teriyaki chicken. The staff are also extremely friendly and warm to new-starters, and those already acquainted with hotpot places.
Nice food, good staff, and a good location. Had the hot pot and it was tastier and cheaper than other hot pot places. I recommend this restaurant! Been back a few times and still very happy with it. $38 per adult for all you can eat hot pot.
Perfect for the price and food! Just $35 U can enjoy a unlimited time Chinese Hot Pot Buffet It also includes soup, cold dishes, skewer and most importantly, the drink! Food is good quality! Staffs are nice too! Highly recommended! Most visit again!
Highly recommended for the fun experience of Chinese Hot Pot at Seven Star Chinese Restaurant. Its a DIY cooking extravaganza whilst chatting and catching up with others. A great place to come with big family and friends. It is spacious comfortable and clean. You choose from their wide selection of soup base. Tom yum, chicken, mushroom, tomato, etc. Then you choose your own condiments, spices, sauce, meat, seafood, vegetables, mushrooms and basically cook your own type of hotpot soup. The soup stock base gets thicker and more delicious as all the ingredients cooks over time. Really fun thing to do as you cook on the special glass table with thermal sections to DIY cook yourself. You do need to help a child or preferably share the cooktop if child under 10 as the knowledge of certain spices and sauces are required as partof essential cooking. Our teenagers found the whole event fantastic as they chat over everything. Really good deal. Eat as much as you cam consume. $38 per person which includes a good selection of drinks and some dessert. It is a modest unassuming restaurant situated near Laverton Train Station. It does not look lavish or grand from outside and simple basic family run style. However, we did not go for the decor but for the food! The friendly staff were very helpful to educate us on the whole procedure. We had a wonderful time catching up and discussing over meal. It was relaxed and felt very at home. No rush.
