Wow, the best folded eggs I’ve had! They were delicious, I could have had more. The flavours were fresh and I felt like I was eating something that wasn’t what you normally find on a brunch menu in the CBC.nThe cafe itself self is lovely and if you can grab a seat outside, it’s like a tranquil Italian court yard.nThe staff were lovely and the wait time for both food and drink was really good considering how busy there were.nThe courtyard/garden is a decent size so much so that there were plenty of dogs, babies and family large gatherings.nThere is parking out the front which is handy too.nWill definitely be coming back!
It was a public holiday and they are packed!!nSo we sort of got lucky, get a seat for 2 in 30mins.nThe food was amazing. I had the soba salad and it’s pretty refreshing. My partner had the pasta, definitely spot on. Also they are quick, like... fast.nWithin 20mins and we got served.nWill be back for some other dishes too, the cafe and vibe just look stunning and cosy.
Exceptional food and service: we were perhaps lucky in being shown immediately to a table despite the indoor area being very busy.nThe Eggs Benny, with Salmon replacing Ham was delicious and the Stuffed Zucchini Flowers were a rare treat.nThe hard surfaces of the interior make it noisy to the point of having trouble conversing: as a factory, that must have been a real problem!nnWe visited on a Public Holiday and hope the 15% Service Charge actually made its way to the staff...
Vibes! Great food, super service, and such a thoughtfully designed space! Many different options for seating/reclining, including large/communal tables for larger groups, fireplace lounge setting, private and quiet/cosy corner tables and benches, as well as the usual cafe style seats.nStyling is on point with exposed beams, polished concrete, and lush greenery inside. This is complemented by an outdoor eating space and courtyard. So there is a space for every kind of mood and occasion. On my last visit I had the Spanish folded eggs with chorizo which was done to perfection. Great kids menu, including both brunch and lunch foods, and they loved the milkshakes. Will most certainly be back!
Beautiful place ..Truly blending with the artistic beauty of Eltham .Had to wait a ridiculously long time to get served after we were seated ....Ordered the special,got my order mixed and then had to wait again.Food was average and this experience made it average as well....But loved the ambience
