Only 4 stars due to overpriced tickets. $180+ for 3 people and the gondola ride is so short. I was expecting it to go all the way across the canyon.nnExcellent for those with mobility or scenic hiking with easy options. There are much nicer hikes however if you are more adventurous. We enjoyed the train/cable car down 54 degrees.nnLots of waiting in lines to do the horizontal cable car could be avoided or improved somehow via making the terminals more interesting or by playing videos talking about the area and aboriginal history.nnIt's overpriced but good for a quick easy adventure.nnThe gift shop has lots of cool items. The hotdogs are awesome!nnMake sure you go to the waterfall and keep an eye out for black cockatoos.nnThis is not wheelchair friendly. My dad has limited mobility and all the standing around in lines was tough as well as up and down the stairs.
Combining numerous activities and viewing points this allows for an activity filled excursion in the Blue Mountains. We were lucky with the weather and having visited on a weekday there were no excessively long queues for the rides. There are also a number of walks through the park detailing the areas mining history or visiting the nearby waterfall. Overall it was a a great visit and we enjoyed it very much
If you are looking for a way to enjoy the sites of the blue mountains without having to hike around everywhere, this is your best choice. Scenic world provides multiple gondolas, trains, and lifts to give you the best views of the stunning landscape. The dinosaur walk was a nice walk through the trees and provided a nice canopy when trying to hide from the sun mid day. We purchased the unlimited discovery pass for the day and took multiple trips on each of the different vehicles. Some lines get a little long depending on the time of day but the waits weren't too bad overall.
Great scenic stuff and walks. We went on a day with no visibility but still fun and recommend it regardless. Obviously is best when you can see more than 5 metres!nnI do NOT recommend relying on the coffee shop or restaurant. Crazy busy and average at best. Bring a packed lunch and flask of coffee.nnTourist shop is reasonable.nnCrowds can get nuts so be prepared to be patient and manage the kids if necessary!
It was an overall good experience. Got to see Lyrebirds on our walk from steep railway. Would recommend to go on weekdays to enjoy the nature in a less crowded environment. Staff at scenic world was friendly amd helpful. Their commentary was all the fun to the place.
