A regular train station with lifts for accessible access, station staff from 5AM to 5PM on weekdays and toilets open during those hours. The frequency of train could be improved though. The station staff are amazing and really helpful and the waiting room is always warm in winter.
You may wonder why I give a Small Town Train Station with 5 Star rating. However if you could take a look at the photos I had taken during my recent trip to Blackheath, Hopefully you will understand. As one of the top destinations in Australia to see Autumn Colors, Blue Mountains really has so much to offer. Blackheath, perhaps, is one of the most glittering gems right on the top of this beautiful moutain range. While I had just arrived at its Train Station, I was already overwhelmed by the glorious autumn essence. I couldn't find anywhere else to write my recommendation for the wonderful autumn scenery in Blackheath, so that hereby, I do suggest you head towards Wentworth Street. You won't be disappointed. Blackheath station is a land of never-ending limbo in the western mountains, although it is pretty easy to bail out of there depending on the weather, the long walk from govetts leap isnt too bad as the view is majestic. 9/10 would go again
