Lithgow train station is clean and tidy. That is what you want when your standing waiting for your train to leave.
*Update: The ticket office has reopened so now u can get tickets n bookings for places out west n bus times n lots of other information I really hope it stays open b'cos Opal cards r no good if ur traveling past Bathurst n u need tickets for places that don't have a tap on tap off bolard thing.
Rang the station and inquired about train services following the flood disruptions and the staff person was very helpful.
The last station on the Blue Mountains Line that is served by electric trains from Central. Station had clean facilities and shelter for cold and wet weather. NSW TrainLink Regional services connect Lithgow with Dubbo, Broken Hill as well as Nyngan and other regional NSW towns.
Clean, accessible and plenty of seating... as well as covered and full length for the full 8 carriages of a train.
Polite & Extremely Helpful staff. Very Professional,but still easy to talk to.
