Was on holiday with my family in sanctuary cove rented a beautiful home and also brought my golf clubs over from NZ. On Tuesday 5th Sept I drove down to this beautiful golf course at 6.30am to play a round....only to be told by a staff member at the front that this is a members course only and I could not play... I was absolutely devastated only to find out 4 days later that it was actually a public golf course...i was furious as I had to leave the next day... Is it because I'm a kiwi...or Maori?.. You might want to change that sign at the front saying visitors welcome because they are clearly NOT! PISSED OFF KIWI

Well maintained and built golf course, great for a boys weekend and has all the equipment you need

Excellent championship course with the renovations proving their worth. Lots of water across the front nine to keep you honest. Only complaint is there's a lot of par 4s of similar length.

The club has excellent facilities & the staff are always friendly. However due to many incidents regarding members hitting up golf balls on my flight over the duration of 2 years, it has spoilt my image of this prestigious club. If more could be done to educate golfers on golf etiquette, perhaps my experience here would be better. Let this be a warning to all future members, do not be blinded by the good facilities as there are many members which are the opposite.
