I enjoy the feel of AF hope Island. Unlike most AF gyms (that can feel like dungeons), this one has an open flow atmosphere with high ceiling windows that look onto the river. The windows are an inconvenience during the day as the hot sun can glare you in the face (and eyes) during them squats. The soft squishy floor, although great to minimise noise, is bad for stability and form. But you can work around this by using plates and/a-step to stand on. It is the newest gym around the area, and possibly the best for equipment. Can't go past Hammer Strength. Peak hours don't get too busy and you can always find equipment to use. See you there 😊

Nice clean gym with good facilities but I would not recommend signing up here as the owner lacks customer service and can be very very rude

Handy location. Lovely staff! People that use the gym are helpful and i feel comfortable as a women going there to train.
