Family Owned and Operated Bed & Breakfast situated close to the Beautiful Derwent Valley River in the heart of New Norfolk.

Story

Rosie’s Inn has recently changed Management in October 2016 and is now operated by Rod & Jo. Rosie’s is a beautiful Old World Charmed maintained Bed & Breakfast which is situated only 100 metres from the picturesque Derwent Valley River. Close to and walking distance to local CBD. Also a perfect base to explore the Derwent valley and all it has to offer. Not to mention only a short 35 minute drive to Hobart!

That's a crazy place: It really looks like a home (or bed and breakfast place) from 40 years ago. Rosie and Colin are lovely and will even greet you by the name in the morning. The internet is rather slow and not available in every room. We arrived late and bought some Asian food in the town (which was really good by the way) which we could eat in the lounge. It was an interesting experience staying at Rosies Inn, but we can recommend it: It's clean and provides everything one needs for a night (except fast internet).

The hosts, Rosie and Collin, were the kindest hosts I've ever met. The room is decorated in old but romantic fashion. A lot space for friends who travelling together to get-together, having tea, playing board games, etc. Breakfast is simple but delicious. Environment is clean and quiet.
