New Norfolk Caravan Park

The location of this caravan park was really nice. It is on the river and close to town center. Getting a spot seemed a little slap dash as the person we talked to gave us general directions on where to go. It may have been due to the amount of people camping there but I don't know. The kitchen area was really weird with a mix of outside and laundry to be a kitchen. Also we only got one facilities key (showers, bathrooms) for the two of us camping.

When we had car troubles, We stayed in one of the clean and tidy cabins, Peter was understanding about our predicament of not knowing how long it would take to get our car fixed and also offered advice . In the end we stayed 3 nights , the campsite is in a lovely location by the river and the town not far away. We highly recommend to all , the campsite for tents and caravans looks good too .

Great place to stay , close to shops nice walk along river n to lookout, very friendly owners , nice and clean park, the trees n gardens make the park feel lovely.

Cheap, quaint and charming - so glad we stopped here on one of our nights through the area. 100% would stay again and even go slightly out of my way to stay here again.

as for an earlier remark about Keys. thet r all registered. keyed alike. silly bugger. Peter an his Wife are good people. they have a secure side as well as they have in an out side with or without power sites. the secure aide is under tree cover. opposite the river. next to parks along the river. Very Quiet. well maintained. 5 min restrictions on hot water. but a 30 Sec cut out. which means no heat for 30 secs and start again. no fee for water. outside cooking area under cover. Laundry is Separate and at least 5vof each washers and dryers. 2 clothes Lines. 2 lots of separate toilets for both sexes. I helieve Peter and His Wife. own the local fuel service station too. A real nice place to stay. reasonable prices too.
