Absolutely fantastic Pub. I stopped by on a long distance bicycle charity tour in December, and I was met by one of the owners, Don, out the front of the pub (absolutely exhausted) and kindly helped to my room. Fantastic publican. A pub full of charm. Great hearty meals with a clean bed. What more can you ask?! I look forward to returning.

Been staying there for a few weeks, awesome 200+ year old pub with lots of curiosities, great staff and proper pub meals!

This old pub has an amazing view out on the back deck and fantastic meals.
Mind you the publican is hilarious and has a great sense of humour.

Pub in the older style , friendly service. Good value pub/bistro type menu.
 Spacious restaurant. Large outdoor area with seating ,which overlooks the Derwent River. Good veiws of the  often misty mountains around the valley.
Big open fireplace to keep warm by in winter. Great pint of Guinness. Esp'if poured by  Lee.       
         Oldest continuously licenced public house in Australia. Has many original features still in place. 
Offers accommodation for those wishing to stay in area, using The Bush as a base for exploring.
