I paid for a family room and it was ok that it was upstairs, would have preferred down stairs. The airconditioning barely kept one side of the family room cool, and I'm not sure how long it has been since the filter had been clean! Also the rest of the rooms had a low night light outside, room 16 had a flourescent light outside that shone in above the curtain all night. I'd have thought this would be turned off at night or the curtains cover up the window correctly. Being Christmas I should have been able to check in at least by 12:00 instead of 2:00pm the amount I paid for one night. I don't think I'd stay here again this is another motel near by.
I have stayed at the Rodney Motor Inn a couple of times now and I recommended it to everyone that is looking for a great hospitable place to stay.nnIt also offers well priced accommodation, which many others do not!nnBetter to have your place full at a cheaper rate, than half full at an exorbitant price!
The only thing was the reverse cycle heater really didn't warm the room very well it was a real cold day outside but the gentleman did happily provide a fan heater as well, which helped. The room was great, beds were good, and the place was very clean and well maintained. I would be happy to stay again
Stayed in Room 15 on 11th November 2024. Absolutely digusting, no plugs for sink or hand basin, carpet filthy and knobs missing from wardrobe door. TV so bloody small had to sit at bench to watch it. Only good thing was the mattress as was comfortable. Very slack on supply of tea bags and sugar as well ant to top it off, charged me $145.00 for the night.
Although a little dated the rooms were large and comfortable, including a kitchenette and sink. Very clean with coffee and tea etc, air con worked a treat, tv was good, bed was great, all in all great value for money and I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
