We felt the room was clean but the decor very tired. The cushioning on the chairs was totally flat and the curtains weren't hanging properly and were not great. The fan in the bathroom was very noisy and the hot water when the shower ran was banging in the walls briefly. There was only 1 pillow per person. The reception lady was very pleasant.
We stayed at the family room. The room have kept very clean. Amenities are great, there were cookies, milk, tea and coffee etc. Kitchen with sink and microwave. No cook top. Just one thing is that the place need TLC.
Location is convenient with Woolworths and Aldi across the road and plenty of places to eat out or get take away.nBeds were comfortable we had our own pillows though the room ones looked super slim.nnWe stayed in room 5 family room. One double bed 2 single beds. Plenty of space.nHowever the room is well overdue for a facelift. Carpets are pretty gross looking. Didnt want to walk around without shoes on. Shower heads leaked and taps dripped. Ceiling in desperate need of repainting both in the bathroom and the room. The bathroom fan didnt work at all. The grout and tiles in the bathroom need to be replaced and updated.nWas clean and tidy though. Plenty of clean towels, sheets were clean and fresh. Plenty of bathroom supplies provided. Crockery was clean and plenty of washing up liquid and towels for washing and drying.nLiked the biscuits provided in the kitchen. Unsure if aircon worked as we never used it.
I travel frequently for work, and unfortunately, this was by far the worst property I’ve ever stayed at. The room I was given was in severe disrepair, with visible damage and carpets well past replacement. To make matters worse, smoke from other residents seeped directly into my room through a gap in the door, making the stay both unpleasant and unhealthy. Adding to this, other guests partied loudly right outside my door well into the night, leaving me unable to rest. This property fails on the most basic standards of comfort, cleanliness, and guest consideration.
Fit for purpose. No bells and whistles which is perfectly fine.nMaybe just put some signs up to remind other guests that people maybe sleeping. No smoking in rooms is fine but when the downstairs guest has a smoke outside it floats upstairs. Having chairs outside is just another excuse for guests to talk on their phone while having a ciggy and keeping everyone awake. If it’s going to stay like this which I guess it will, think about double glazing the windows and sound proofing the walls a bit more.
