Thankyou Lawrence and the team at Miners Mate Mechanical, you help us out in our time of need. We had rats eat through our induction hose which goes to our turbo, which we did know until Lawrence had a look for us. When we first rang up, they said they were booked out, but told us to come in anyway and they would have a look. They tried everything to get us out of trouble, but in the end a new part had to be ordered. They spent a fair time ringing around all Australia ,try to find a part as we have a imported F250. It came 3 days later and he fitted it. A job well done.nIf you like my reviews, please follow me around Australia .
Lawrence generously helped us with an urgent issue that needed to be sorted out as we passed through Mt Isa on Easter Monday in our caravan. Even though it was it was his day off, he was more than happy to help us. He was very considerate, knowledgeable and approachable. Very much appreciated!
Cannot recommend highly enough. After having ongoing problems with our Toyota Hilux Winnebago, and visiting 3 other mechanics in our travels, Miners Mate finally diagnosed and rectified the underlying issue that had been causing all of the problems. As you can imagine, it was costing us $ every time we visited other mechanics to get the misdiagnosed problem sorted a bent axle, so we cannot thank them enough for getting to the heart of the real problem. Not only did they fix it, they were reasonably priced as well. Very highly recommended.
I strongly advise against this garage, we made an appointment 1 month in advance only to be told 2 days before that it had in fact been cancelled and that now there is a waiting period of two months. Unable to give us exact information or any price.
Took my car in for a B SERVICE,PLUGS NOT DONE,DIF NOT DRAINED AND FILLED, TYRES ALL DIFFERENT PRESSURE,nVERY HORRIBLE RECEPTION STAFF VERY RUDE ,MADE TO WAIT 40M OUT IN HEAT AS GIRL SAID LABOR HAS TO BE Signed OFF BY MECHANIC HE AT LUNCH AND I HAVE TO wait to or her to call,big attitude on this,returned and older lady on said she can't do the paperwork it's not her job,but begrudgingly took $400 for a service which was not completed properly,trans oil not replaced,no plugs done bearings not retightened to torque wrench settings.i doubt oil filter, fuel filter,or air filter replaced,OLD AIR FILTER STILL IN VEHICLE BUT ALL PAID FOR ACCORDING TO MY RECIEPT.n$400 AND WORK NOT DONEnDO NOT USE THIS MECHANICS
