I had a great time spending 3 days and 2 nights on the Reef Encounter. The crew are very friendly and helpful, the meals were great and the accommodation is very comfortable. Had an excellent time scuba diving, saw plenty of turtles, fish and reef sharks.

Amazing staffs and diving instructors! Superb hospitality and delicious food, and all the crews are super friendly! No diving experience? No worries! I spent 3 days 2 nights on the cruise, dived ~3 times per day (also a night dive!) and got certified as an open water diver! (with Matt as my instructor. He's awesome!!!)

It's seriously one of the best experience in my life :)

I have dived with Reef Encounters twice and had a wonderful time on the boat. However on my third booking due to personal circumstances I needed to cancel my booking 2 days after making it. The team insisted on the 20% cancellation fee or option to rebook. While I understand this is their policy I find the customer service in this instance disgusting. No level of understanding esp for someone who has been a loyal customer and brought friends onboard. Suggest they consider how they treat their customers better going forward and not fall back on T&Cs esp considering they had more than enough time to fill my berth so they would have lost no revenue from my cancellation. Just greedy.

AMAZING!!! It was simply awesome! We did a 1 night live aboard on the ship. It included 6 scuba dives (including 1 night dive and 1 early morning dive). We also had the opportunity to snorkel twice in addition to the scuba we booked, it was a nice surprise. The crew was fabulous, the room and bed very comfortable and the food was excellent! We got to see so much aquatic life: incredible corals, vibrant fish (some very large), and we got to swim with sea turtles and reef sharks! Wish we had more time, I would have stayed 3 nights!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR GREAT BARRIER REEF EXPERIENCE !!!!!!!What kind of a company makes a mistake on your reservation which TOTALLY RUINS your experience, promises compensation, admits to the mistake, and doesn’t apologize?  This company!!!!!!!

We booked a top deck package and paid an extra $1000 for the experience.  After getting on the transfer boat, the REEF EXPERIENCE, we were not treated as top deck customers. Once arriving on the REEF ENCOUNTER we were again not treated as top deck customers.  We finally realized something was wrong when they took us to the wrong cabin.  We advised The purser and she said we were not booked as top deck. After several uncomfortable hours of insisting we had paid for the package we kept being told that we did not.  We couldn’t contact our travel agent at that time due to the time difference.  At some point they realized a huge error had been made and placed us in the right stateroom.  No apologies.
The company advised our travel agent there was a manifest error and promised our travel agent compensation for ruining our experience but then declined it because we left a good review for the crew.  It’s not the crews fault the company is mismanaged. We still have no compensation and no apology.

USE A DIFFERENT COMPANY FOR THIS ATTRACTION !!!!
