I can’t fault this place. For the price of meals, the service, atmosphere and quality of food gets 5 stars. The place both red spice locations is somewhere between casual and high end. Relaxed enough to have dinner with mates, but fancy enough for a business lunch or dinner. The pork belly is a must and the fried cauliflower is delicious.
Came here for lunch with colleagues. Ordered the express Lunch $29 and chose the pork belly, the kung pao chicken and the Laotian lamb curry as share dishes. Overall enjoyed the food. I find the pork belly really nice, but the sauce is tangy and overpowering. The kung pao is not authentic due to the fusion nature but I still enjoyed it. Service was good. Everyone was helpful and polite.
The $69 banquet + pork belly.. was it worth it?? I am not usually a fan of "fusion" and this continues to back up my thinking.. unless you like this kinda thing .. each to their own and YMMV fusion... is a cooks version of I can't get it right but it tastes ok, kinda good .. so I'll call it fusion - and done deliberately.. anyway I won't harp on it. Was here for a cousins birthday.. The standout would be the pork belly and the desert. Does that say something.. Everything else that we had from the banquet?? go to a viet or thai restaurant! unless u like Asian dishes done sweet .. Nothing wrong with that.. just saying. It's better than chinese food ordered in a country town. But not too far from your beef n black bean sauce on rice, lemon chicken or spring roll.
Tasty food, good service, clean. I've been here many times for both small and big groups of friends as well as for a team event. They do dietary requirements well when given notice, even for the banquet menus
We arrived without reservation and got seated very soon, which was quite nice. Environment is perfect for dating or any business dinner. Foods did not meet the expectation since they might have some misunderstandings about Asian foods. The seasonings were obviously abused and one tips is asian people don't usually use that much parsley in salads. They taste weird if not cooked or with soup. Lamb ribs were good and had a sweet flavor.
Nice atmosphere, warm and cosy near the front and open and bright near the back. Pork belly was delicious, but very rich, should have gone with the suggestion of sharing it and having a separate entree. Rice and tea very overpriced though, spoiled the otherwise good value on the bill
The food was amazing, the service was great. The servings for the banquet are huge, and the quality top notch. However unfortunately they had included about $60 extras on our bill that we had not ordered. Once I brought this to their attention it was promptly taken care of but that was just unprofessional.
Great service here, my friends ordered a cocktail which didn't taste great and the waiter was really great as he offered to exchange them for another drink!
Food quality is great, my friends and I loved it, unfortunately service was quite poor, our waiter was rushing at the end we didn't enjoyed it as we wanted to.
Came here with friends for dinner on their recommendation. The food was ok, def not worth the price. The waiter we had was trying too hard and kept disrupting us while we were talking which was really irritating. Probably won't be back.
