We had a wonderful experience staying here. Front of house staff were really helpful. Beautiful surroundings and both our rooms were lovely. We had a two bedroom apartment and a studio. Easy shuttle in to town. There are shuttle day passes and concession cards available. The swim up bar was great. I would not recommend the restaurant for dinner. Breakfast is ok but dinner was very average. Lots of options in town. Highly recommended staying here. We attended the Wyndham Sales Pitch - actually was really interesting. Got $300 of our bill 3 couples attending and 15% of drinks and food. Was totally worth it for the savings if you have the time and inclination to go.
The Wyndham Ramada Resort is a great place to stay. The staff are very helpful and friendly.nThe rooms are huge and the pool is great.nIt's in a great position to explore what Port Douglas and surrounds have to offer, or just stay and lounge around the pool with a swim up bar. It's also good to get back to the pool after being out tripping all day.nWe all loved the pool, grandkids, grown-up kids, and grandparents.
Nice hotel at its core, but our entire stay was basically spent avoiding staff pitching us clearly dodgy time-share agreements Honestly, look at the fine print and do the math on a real holiday - how can any self-respecting adult fall for this crap?. I'd honestly recommend the hotel itself but... wow, what an unpleasant experience having to constantly turn down the offer being swindled out of tens of thousands of dollars. Wyndham should be ashamed and their predatory tactics quite frankly illegal.
Love this place!!! It's our second time and it just keeps getting better, our favourite family holiday destination. Super friendly staff throughout the whole resort. Head chef is awesome, cooked up our reef fishing catch, best meal we had.... Will be back for sure
We stayed at Ramada Port Douglas in August for an amazing 9-night getaway, and it truly felt like paradise! The staff made our experience unforgettable—always helpful, attentive, and going above and beyond in every way. A special shout-out to Ashleigh, who was incredibly kind and thoughtful, ensuring our stay was perfect in every way. Enrico also deserves a mention for patiently walking us through our membership benefits and helping us make the most of our ownership.nnOne instance that truly stood out was when we accidentally left behind an iPad. The reception team quickly organised for it to be sent on a shuttle to the airport, saving us from a long drive back. Such thoughtful service made all the difference!nnThe resort has fantastic facilities for families, making it a wonderful choice for both relaxation and adventure. Our kids had a blast with the bikes, games area, and the spacious pool quickly became a favorite. There was always something fun to do, and the family-friendly atmosphere was a big plus.nnWith so much to offer, Ramada Port Douglas has definitely become our top Wyndham destination. We’re already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended!
