I booked my stay through luxury escapes, thinking that I had booked a room with the Sea Temple Resort. This was not the case. My booking went through a private company called Private Escapes. This meant that we had to pay for everything straight away and couldn’t put it on an account. If there were any issues, we couldn’t go to the staff at the resort, we had to go via Private Escapes. We had no issues at all and our contact at Private Escapes was in contact with us.  Our apartment 174 was a 2 bedroom swim up. The apartment was beautiful and clean, modern and the beds were so comfortable.nThe bathrooms were clean, and I’m one of those people who gets the “icky” feeling in hotel bathrooms, I did not feel like this at all. We had an amazing section of the pool which wasn’t far from the main pool/bar, but was also in a very quiet part. I could not fault anything at this resort. For me, it has set the bar and the only place I will ever stay in PD will be the sea temple. I’ll also want to book apartment 174 again knowing that it is looked after and managed very well.

We recently had our wedding ceremony at Pullman Port Douglas - what a fantastic venue! The location is wonderful, the beach is stunning, and the selection of apartments was great for us and the guests with lots of options to choose from. Huge thanks to Michaela and the events team. You were enthusiastic, knowledgeable and efficient. You made sure everything ran smoothly in the leadup and on the day. Thank you so much. We'll be back for our anniversary :-

I am utterly disappointed with this stay. It is certainly not a 5 stars hotel.nThe lady Emily i think who helped us check in was good. She was polite, friendly and helpful. I was told by her that we were given two $25 credits for food and drinks to compensate the lack of house keeping service during Easter Holiday.nHowever this has changed when I checked out. The lady called Alejandra, had no smile and politeness, told me there was no such credit in the system for me and therefore I need to pay for the food I ordered through room service. I showed her the letter I was given that mentioned about the credit, she did not even want to look at it and in the end, said she couldn’t find the proof in the system but she would apply for me like she was doing me a favour, with no apologies for the confusion they caused. I walked away by being told that just 56 cents will be charged to my credit card but soon I saw another charge came through which then got me drive back to the hotel and then being told that it was actually just one $25 credit not two.nFacility in the hotel and the room is good. However the room we stayed had a bad smell  which again made us hard to believe it is a five stars.nLastly the poke bowl we ordered through room service tasted so bad that we just threw the whole thing into the bin.nFirst time trying the Accor hotel and unfortunately it is such a let down.

We wrote to the hotel directly after our stay and they've not responded.  The TV in bedroom 2 did not work.  Tapping sound all night from the air conditioner.  Waited 1.5 hours for a meal, complained several times.  Completely understaffed.  Bread was like Coles heat n serve.  No signature dish.  30 minute wait time for drinks.  It wasn't overly busy.  Bread came out after we were 3/4 through our meal.

We arrived to a glass of sparkling wine and a friendly greeting, the massive pool is incredible and first impressions were WOW, lovely. Although when we first entered into our 2 bedroom plunge pool villa the smell of mould was overwhelming, furniture stained and the outside afresco area and pool needed a good high pressure clean due to  mould and generally dirty. As we explored the resort, it was apparent that this resort needs a full upgrade/renovation.nStaff are lovely and can’t do enough to help.
