Wonderful resort with huge connecting pools, a swim up bar, spa and excellent restaurant. Our room is clean and very spacious with two bedrooms, a large living room, full open-style kitchen and 2 bathrooms. It also has a nice outside space with seating in the shade and our suite overlooks one end of the pool. The open air restaurant is casual but nice. The service is excellent and the food delicious. We have enjoyed it several times for breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner. The breakfast buffet has everything you’d want. Lunch was delicious. We had wonderful salmon avocado bowls, fried chicken and salad with grilled chicken…. Daniela, the Manager and Clara are genuinely friendly and very professional. I am in the hotel business ownership and know great people when I see them. The hotel is located a short 5 to 10 minute walk to the beach and 10 minute drive to the marina will take you out on the reef for snorkeling and diving. We liked Wavelength Reef Cruises best.
I was extremely disappointed with my stay at the Sea Temple. From the moment I arrived, it was clear this hotel is not deserving of its so-called 5-star status. I was “upgraded” to a room with an outdoor bath—nice in theory, but the bath didn’t even work.nnThe lack of basic amenities was astonishing. No minibar, no readily available towels poolside towels are non-existent unless you trek through the restaurant to get one, and heaven forbid you need more than one towel if you’re travelling with kids. When I asked for a bottle of water at checkout, the manager informed me that water is only provided on arrival. I was further shocked when I tried to buy water from the bar, only to be told they don’t sell it and the only water they have is the same “free” water given at check-in. How is this a luxury hotel if they can’t even provide or sell water?nnThe buffet was another letdown. For the price, it’s nothing more than a basic continental breakfast with the option of eggs. Certainly not what you’d expect from a 5-star resort. The rooms are tiny and tired, with absolutely no sense of luxury.nnYes, the pool is nice—but pools like this are a dime a dozen. There are better, more spacious options in countless other destinations. For the money spent here, you’re far better off flying to Bali or Thailand, where actual luxury and value for money go hand in hand.nnAt best, this is a mediocre 3-star resort charging 5-star prices. Save yourself the disappointment and look elsewhere.
Resort was nice, room was nicennThe Christmas seafood buffet cost my family $2000- only a small amount was seafood and the rest was standard below average quality food. Not worth the money. Also to add, we were not on the list so had to wait to the side in the sun whilst they rushed a table in the corner together, away from the entertainment and view.nnWe expected our room to be cleaned- I had to call 4 times so which it still didn’t happen and was told house keeping went home- we didn’t have any clean towels to shower with, I used a face towel & my husband used a hand towel. Our towels were already in a pile on the floor as we expected them to be changed in the morningnWe ordered some drinks at dinner I asked for 2 lemon lime bitters- received 2 lemonades, I asked for 2 scotch & coke- received 2 scotch and ginger ale, I asked for 2 Coke Zero- received two full sugar cokes. This resort shouldn’t be 5 star because it’s just a mess with the service.
We stayed in a 2 bedroom penthouse apartment through a private Company, not directly booked from Pullman.nThe pool and spa were perfect, one of the best I have ever experienced.nOverall, we had a very nice and relaxing holiday and we will definitely go back. I hope apartments will get renovated for our next trip.
We had issues with every room we stayed in. From what I can see half the staff are extremely motivated and the rest are just exisiting. When you book this property you expect to walk in and have things simply working. You are paying the premium to walk in and expect everything to work. We had Maria at the front desk who was absolutely exceptional but it seemed to be mismanaged otherwise. Mind you I’m an Accor all gold member so I stay at all kinds of Accor properties everywhere and this definitely didn’t come close to a Pullman experience. It’s a huge shame because it’s absolutely stunning! I get that since the pandemic everything has significantly gone downhill, but if the top tear resorts can’t keep up, it doesn’t provide a space to spend our limited downtime.
