Good to have phone to call and tablet to sent email. Bit strange when you driving and need to press 1 or 2 My point is when using phone I like to be on phone not interacting with computer. Another side god help you if you going to  said anything else. They will make you really not good

Scam alert 6 months of investigation results in declining my car accident claim and give me a silly reason at the end, beware of these fraudsters, go for AAMI or NRMA.

Really disappointing behaviour by RACQ recently, offering existing members of roadside cover a "free" upgrade to Ultra cover. Then come renewal time, links take you straight to payment pages with zero options to downgrade back to the previous cover level.  After much mucking around, online chat confirms the only way to downgrade is by calling them direct and sitting through click thru and waiting times.  I feel for elderly members trying to navigate thru this trap

I'm not entirely sure if this is the same RACQ place that helped me as there are many in my area but it's all the same company so I thought I'd leave this here anyway. I had my car have a non emergency issue that sounded really bad at about 5am this morning and called 13 11 11 to get some help. I was able to sign up for free as I'm still a minor and had someone come help with within 30 minutes. The man was really polite, drove my car and was able to confirm that something was wrong with it. He then took my breaks apart and tried to find the reason such an awful consistent noise was coming from it even when I wasn't using my breaks. He wasn't able to find anything wrong with it from the surface and recommended me to see a repairs shop so they could take some time on it and figure out what was wrong. Also recommended a tow truck as it wasn't safe to drive. He was extremely nice and answered any questions I had and let me drive my car home as it wasn't far away and the paid parking spot I was in had a limited time to it. When I drove it home it sounded fine and all my issues were suddenly gone. I'm kinda debating taking it to get repairs as it sounds fine now, maybe he moved it all back into place without realising it when he checked on all my breaks. I'll probably still go to get my car checked on but overall I'm extremely happy with my experience with RACQ.

Was a process to cancel my insurance

The guy that served me was nice, however hard to hear due to being sat far away and other people working there had very loud voices that over powered his.  But as a whole it was a good experience.

Called to jump start my motorcycle They tried for 20 minutes Flooded the oil sump with petrol COST $400 TO FIX! Refused to acknowledge fault Refused to refund! Bad operators.  They have always been handy but if they screw up they will likely wash their hands of it.

We were selling selling a vehicle and the buyer organised an inspection through RACQ which was fine... but the RACQ driver came at 8:00 I had to leave for work so I suggested he leave the keys & he did so, I returned home at 5:00 didn’t notice anything as still daylight, my neighbour knocked on my door to inform me tat the car lights were left on from inspection that morning..  I tried to start and flat as a tack and we had six people arriving to view car at 8:00 the following morning so I rang RACQ they came which I just expected them to rectify the problem that they caused as we had NEVER had an issue with the battery before this! They blew a cell them processed to tell me we had to foot the bill  for $240 to replace ad it was 6:30 on a Friday night @ I had people coming to look at car so I had no choice as it would have looked great for the car not to start!!!! The RACQ drive told me to dispute the matter & they will refund.  Well THATS NOT THE CASE! And now I’m asking for all information to be sent so I can follow up as I have since contacted other battery companies and I am getting no reply. They didn’t leave the battery so I could not get tested. RACQ  I AM DISGUSTED & DISAPPOINTED we are about to head into open heart surgery with our son and you guys feel it’s ok to RIP PEOPLE OFF! Shame on you and I will be pursuing this matter after my priorities with my son....... thanks
