Story

We are a family owned and operated independent supermarket which was purchased by Brian Quinton in January 2000. Many improvements were implemented by Brian during his time in the business from 2000 until his death from Pancreatic Cancer in August 2007 at the age of just 49. Brian’s wife Julie Quinton has taken on the challenge of continuing the family business since that time to ensure Brian’s legacy will continue on for the next generation of family members.
Our focus is on providing outstanding service, fresh first quality produce including a growing number of organic and ethical farming products, prime freshly cut meat, gourmet delicatessen, first class dairy and freezer departments and an extensive grocery range for our discerning Warrandyte community.
We also stock a very wide range of Organic, Gluten, Wheat and Dairy free products.
The Warrandyte Community is the lifeblood of Quinton’s SUPA IGA.
We employs approximately 100 staff at Quinton's who are predominantly Warrandyte residents.
We support every sporting club, school, kindergarten & community group in Warrandyte.
Julie Quinton and our team here at Quinton's are passionate about supporting Australian Manufacturing and Australian Farmers.

We go out of our way to source locally produced and owned items for their shelves.
We are the first supermarket in Australia to announce that they were no longer stocking Caged or Barn Laid eggs. Only Free Range eggs from ethical farms are sold here at Quinton's.
