Macedon Square is busy with activities and tourists. Next to that are old stone bridge and Jewish and archaeological muziums. The stone bridge was built during the Ottoman empire. There are many statues, include the father of Alexander the great. Opposite to the statues are pathways to many sourviniers, gifts and food shops.
As I work in the Doncaster area on occasion, I find Macedon Plaza a great little strip of shops to do some supermarket shopping, grab a bite to eat or relax with a well roasted coffee in some of the cafes here.
Macedon Square.nGood shopping but parking impossible, through traffic held up by congestion.nThankfully the Chemist delivers or we would never get our medications. The council upgrade to MACEDON SQUARE was a huge waste of money.
Went for coffee with friend in a shop that sells breads etc. great service and coffee.
Saw our meal sitting under lights for some time, watched 4 waitresses pass them by, when finally arrived at our table they were lukewarm. I didn't complain because we were guests and not paying. Wouldn't go back.
