A typical asian shopping centre where you get to choose all sorts of veges, fruits, fresh produce, instant noodles, asian snacks and retail experiences. The veges and fruits are fresh and much cheaper compared to some local supermarkets. There are quite a selection of eateries and restaurants if you long for some asian food especially chinese.
Every time the toilets are dirty, Vicinity centres seem to take profits but never hire enough cleaners to go around cleaning the centre and keeping toilets clean. Today there was poo on the floor in one cubicle, the other free cubicle had urine everywhere on the floor. Zero out of 3 handwashes had detergent and hand sanitiser on the wall had nothing or doesn't even work. Constant birds flying around dropping poo or whatever comes off there body overhead and is unsafe having open food around because of this. There is so much build up of bird poo up top, some of it drips down the walls to people underneath eating. It's disgusting and not clean. Something should be done about this, you cannot tell if there is poo on tables or debris off the dirty sick looking ones and are staff using the same cloth to wipe poo and wipe tables clean because it looks like it
I don’t usually shop here, I just pass through. There are many shops, groceries, cafés, and restaurants, but the centre often smells unpleasant.

Box Hill Central is a busy hub full of Asian food with plenty of tasty options to explore. It sits right above the bus terminal and close to the train station, so it is super easy to reach. The vibe is lively and fun, perfect for trying different dishes in one place.
