3/7/22 Daiso closed? Is it permanently close? Update: It’s moved to SP11, Box Hill Central North Precinct, closed to Woolworths supermarket previous Big W area. They should put a notice at their old store location to let customers know they moved. And their photos in google maps need to be updated.
Great selection of items from Daiso Japan and cheap prices, most of the items are sold for $2.80. In a way staying similar to the "100+tax" concept from Japan. You can find food, snacks, pottery, stationary materials and much more. Even socks for your dog or cat or chairs yes they have socks for the legs of the chair. If paying with card keep in mind that the minimum amount to spend is $10, otherwise bring cash with you. Friendly staff, the shop is usually busy but when they can and you have a question about where to find an item for example they take the time to walk you to where the item is.
I can spend here for hours! Great selection of goods to purchase.
They have Japanese goods which are creative and cute, has basically anything you want. Most items for 2 bucks 80, will recommend. Although there is a lacking of staff walking around when you need assistance but otherwise its great.
I got too much stuff ..but it was soooooo fun..love the layouts and the combination of cute+useful item ..always clean and neat
I experienced a very low customer service at Daiso Box Hill today. I bought 6 plates with no protective packing!! I asked for it or for a small box but not provided!! The cashier was unpolite about my enquiry!! Never go back to Daiso Box Hill!!
Was told their store policy is above Australia Consumer Law today. Didn't know the soil under their feet belonged to Japan, oh the ignorance of me.
Experienced very rude customer service, as the receipt has been stated Change of mind is allowed for full return in 14 days if i have the proof of purchase. Then I tried to return an unused and unopened item with receipt but was told by staff return not allowed coz it's a personal care/cosmatic item. Only faulty items can be return???!!! The business making some illegal and unfair policies to customer / public.
Prices are now 3.10 per item and some items have tags and are marked with a higher price. Still a bargain for a good range of merchandise.
