Absolutely cannot commend this accommodation enough. From being able to fit me in last minute, making sure myself and young child was well looked after and accommodating requests that went well above general hotel policy. The team from reception to management care and are absolutely amazing. I highly recommend.
Quest Palmerston is an amazing place to stay especially if you have a dog. The rooms are immaculately clean, the staff are wonderful and very helpful and the location is close to everything you could possibly need in walking distance. The stand out is the level of care the staff give their guests. Not only was I able to extend multiple times and requested late check out, nothing was a problem for them. Oh and the room attendants keep everything super clean and comfortable for the duration of your stay. Would completely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for value and customer care.
This was a 5 month stay.nOne thing that stood out in this establishment were the staff.nThey were always accommodating, patient and friendly.nI noticed 4 different groups of cleaning staff go through in the time we were there.nSome of the cleaners were conscientious and thorough at least half were not.nThe room we were in needed a good deep cleaning, the mattress was a hammock and needed replacing, we went through 2 clothes dryers, the sliding door to the balcony had to have its rollers replaced as it was impossible to open.nKitchen utensils were well past their use by dates, plastic cooking utensils just aren’t very useful.nI personally cleaned the aircon filters twice, the globes for the range hood kept blowing out, the noise from units above us was on occasions extremely annoying, being of concrete construction the whole place reverberates with sound and sonic repercussion.nnWe have stayed in other Quest outlets around Australia, and have come to expect the equivalent standard of excellence and so the experience of living in the Palmerston establishment for an extended period was an eye opener in that the delivery of service, varies from one location to another.nnAs I aforementioned, the staff were excellent and in our case, that will suffice.nWe never got to meet the manager,nunlike other Quest establishments around the country.
The room and amenities were good, the fridge would freeze our drinks though. The beds were comfortable and too our liking. The place is close by to shopping centres and the bar and grill restaurant downstairs was amazing.nOnly downfall was that we had an adjoining door and the people next door were so loud I could hear all their conversations, the yelling and laughing felt like they were in the room with us and this was from 9pm til 1am. Really need to look into insulationnOther than that it was great value and would still recommend.
Safe parking, balcony for smokers or the view alone, affordable and very clean and the bed very comfortable. Great water pressure and the hot water never ran out. We booked for one night. Ended up becoming my fav local home away from home, stayed the whole weekend. Shopping centre just next door as well as the bus and taxi depot.nnIt's everything I want and nothing I don't. Just perfect for me!
