The Mary River region with it's diverse habitiats & the highest concentration of saltwater crocodiles in the world, creates a wildlife obserservers & fishers paradise. See water buffalo, wallabies, abundent bird species, & spectacular sunsets. Our experienced guides offer a host of activities including walks, billabong cruises, barramundi fishing tours, & 4wd wildlfe/sunset safaris. Boat hire is also on offer. Boats are launched & retreived at Shady Camp for your convenience.
Stay in modern comfortable air-conditioned rooms with private bathrooms, tea & coffee facilities, all linen. Rooms range from double & tiwn share up to 5 share. Perfect for couples, families, fishing groups, & tour groups. A campground is also available with powered sites for caravans & campervans.

Point Stuart Wilderness Lodge is 180km from Darwin city. Approximately 2 hours drive via the Arhem Hwy. Located halfway between Darwin & Kakadu. To reach the Lodge requires driving on 7kms of well maintained unsealed gravel road. Suitable for 2wd vehicles, caravans & campervans. There is a large helipad at the Lodge for any guests arriving by helicopter & a grassed airstrip is also available close by.
