Stopped in Maryborough randomly on a drive. We stopped at the shop to get some food and then found this park to sit and eat. Kids ran around, seemed well maintained. Right on the river. Like the musical features there too. Kids loved it. Nice spot.
Fantastic park with a huge open grassland space, several walking tracks and lots of statues commemorating those who fought in the war. Very well maintained area and a beautiful war memorial towards the main road. Lovely views over the river too and beautiful for walking. Dogs are allowed on leash and there were plenty of shaded areas under the trees too. Would highly recommend visiting here for a picnic or a short walk.
Must visit stop and along the Mary RivernnBrilliant and well maintained park. Nice place to sit and enjoy the peacefulness.nnThe War Memorial is really nicely done. Well done Maryorough.nA few odd charachters about so recommend you watch out for your family but mostly cler of the park crazies.
Nice park to walk through. Some nice features - ANZAC memorial, bandstand, music station.
This is a great park with very well maintained plants. It's great for a lunch time walk to enjoy the scenery. There is a nice historical railway track that runs through, but no trains actually around.
