Beautiful park studded with ample shady trees, a scattering of benches/tables and a series of interactive musical noted sculptures, which are fun to play. The eastern side overlooks the Mary river and a section of tourist oriented rail track, on which runs a historical steam engine, providing tours up and down a small section of the river bank. Near the Courthouse is a miniature railway. Good park for the family.

This is a gorgeous park incorporating landscaped areas, the war memorial, statue of the lone soldier, a man made pond with fountain, play area for children with actual musical instruments and a mini railway. All paved for prams, mobility scooters or wheelchairs. Unfortunately there are no BBQ facilities. There are however ones close by along the banks of the Mary River.

A beautiful park for everyone. Full of history and beauty with the backdrop of the majestic Mary. A perfect respite for one and all.

Looked beautiful,clean and varied vegetation - easy close parking and wheelchair accessible but I didn't have the opportunity to wander through because it was raining ☔ and I was short on time
