We stayed at a powered site at top site for 3 nights Fri-Mon and really enjoyed ourselves! Definitely crowded over the weekend with most families with young kids perfect for us with our toddlers. The bathrooms were always clean, showers were hot and the playground kept the kids happy. Being able to feed the animals deer, pigs and goats was awesome. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The area down by the creek looks like it would be a lot of fun in warmer weather.
We stayed recently for 4 nights and not once were the amenities cleaned. One morning one of the staff did the rounds to refill soap etc. I assume no hand towels, no toilet paper, bathrooms still filthy. There was a mop of dirty water the entire time that wasn’t able to be squeezed properly so completely counterproductive. Suggest maybe a squeegee as well as a mop for wet weather. One of the toilets was clogged and out of order our whole stay, so 2 toilets to cater for majority of the park. Even if the third toilet worked, it’s not enough for the quantity of campers. The sinks don’t drain properly and the showers need a solid clean, scum build up all over the walls. The ladies bathroom lights turn off sporadically when timed out and the switch is near the front door which is highly unsafe at night in the middle of a shower when this happens. The camp kitchen would be great, if the water for washing up worked. We stayed 2 years ago and had a positive experience but those amenities now are nothing short of disgraceful, it was the talk amongst all campers. They really need to be cleaned and maintained several times throughout the day and a full time maintenance person on site to fix everything broken. Suggest some gravel over the roads/paths to reduce the mud traffic into the amenities, especially if the lack of cleaning continues. On a positive, the creek is great and the campsite was serene but the amenities weren’t worth it.
Our 2.5 yr old didn't want to leave. Very family friendly camp ground with lots to do. Our children loved feeding the animals and playing in the playground. The staff were so friendly and very helpful. Was a busy weekend however it did not feel overcrowded. The amenities were clean, the showers were hot , we loved the benches in the shower room, made it easy to dress our little ones and keep them dry. The grounds were clean and well looked after. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you for being so welcoming.
Perfect spot to camp with a family. Beautiful shady areas with lots of grass. Little ones rode their bikes all weekend. Creek is lovely, loads of animals to see and feed. Playground was perfect to fill in a bit of time. Grounds and amenities are well maintained. All staff we dealt with were really welcoming and friendly. Raymon was really knowledgeable and helpful and made sure to check in twice during our stay to ensure we were happy and didn’t need anything. We’ll definitely return.
A fantastic family holiday! We just spent a few nights at a powered site on Sherwood Forest. The weather wasn’t the best with a lots of rain in the first couple of days but that didn’t dampen our stay. Yes it was wet and the ground was muddy but there was so much to see and do. Undercover movie night and other kids activities of a day were a hit. The kids loved exploring the creek once the sun came out. Hours were spent playing here. The highlight was of course the animals. We were lucky to go at the same time as they were being fed by Adam. Adam was absolutely brilliant with the kids. He was so patient answering all of their questions and spent a long time telling us all about the animals and some of their background stories. Top bloke. The playground was big enough to entertain for long periods of time also. All of this as well as a huge off leash area for our pup. We’re self sufficient so can’t really comment on the amenities etc. fantastic trip enjoyed by the whole family. We will definitely be back again. Thank you
We took our Caravan for the first time to Borumba Deer Park. The weather wasn’t great for the weekend but we still had a blast. The staff were friendly and helpful. Was so nice that they made an effort to come to our camp site and say hi and also let us know about feeding the animals. The little kiddies loved the animals and absolutely loved walking along the creek. I was amazed and how clean the toilet and showers where at all times! It was definitely a great location for anyone! We will be back! And I think the staff have done an amazing job
Amazing week of camping, Ultra bush camping at its best. Not fancy, but well provided. Large camping sites with space between other guests. Staff very approachable and friendly. Great activities for Children. Best camping holiday ever. Looking forward to returning soon.Service: 5/5
The kids had a great time feeding all the animals. Goats, deer, chicken and a few angry pigs The staff were all very friendly, right from the booking process over the phone to check in and the guy who assists with the feeding is great at helping the kids to get a photo with the deer. Topping up the feed containers for the kids is a great service. $2 for a container and then you can keep refilling. The only issue we had was the brown water coming out of the taps. I’m just glad we had a full tank in our van. The other thing that made me give 4 stars instead of 5 was the mini golf. I have stayed at many places that have had a mini golf course and I have never had to pay. Not only that, is was not a very good course. As my wife said, we’re not paying for what is probably the worst mini golf course we’ve seen. Definitely worth a visit though!
We absolutely loved our recent stay! The staff are amaizing and work so hard, providing great, friendly service. There is staff maintaining and keeping the property clean, including the amenities all the time! It's well looked after. Even late at night after the storm we had! When I had a fall out there, staff were quick to attend to me fast and I even got a buggy ride back to my camp! Can't wait to come back!
Wow we had the best time! The facilities where cleaned to a high standard. The kiosk was great and well price. Grab your morning coffee every day. Fire pit dropped to your door and very safe for kids. Kids play by the creek and even get a free games like golden nugget hunt! Only downside is it can get a bit tight in the lots but that didn’t mind us. We will be back!
