Absolutely stunning, get there early to avoid the crowds and get a parking spot close to the trail head. Amenities were clean and the track was well marked out. Managed to get some stunning photos. The lower tracks to the base of the Falls is currently closed due to flood damage and I can't wait to go back to see the rest.
Beautiful place! The track is well maintained. Lots of stairs, a bit steep. Some places could be very muddy after rain, so my advice to choose black shoes : After rain waterfalls very full and looks amazing!
Beautiful scenic trail, fresh air. Lively rock pools to stop at for swim half way through. There are 3 distances on this trail, so you can decide how far you want to go. Easy walking trail but some areas have several steps. Recommend though, spend 1.5 - 2 hours, easy to do longer if chilling out at rock pools for a bit.
The park is beautiful and the amenities were clean and well stocked. The 4.7km hike was fairly easy to complete, but one has to be mindful of the stairs. The park map states that there are about 300 of them in this hike. We completed the hike in reverse, and we didn't notice the stairs as we encountered most of the stairs on our way down. The rock pools area offers a good view, and there were lots of people swimming here. Be aware of leeches though as we encountered several on our hike. Certain sections of the track tends to get very muddy and slippery after the rains, so be careful if you are visiting after a few days of rain. The park also has several picnic tables, so it would be a good place to have a peaceful picnic with your friends and family.
Such a beautiful place, the 4.6km walk is awesome. Highly recommend eating and drinking something before doing the 4.6km walk though, as well as bringing water and a snack to keep you going I did none of that so I was dying by the end of the walk, don't be me. We didn't swim in any of the pools because we were afraid of leeches but lots of people went swimming and they seemed fine, so bring your swimmers :
Really well set out walking trails, although could do with some more signs. I started walking down the track past the rock pool but turned around after 15 mins as there's no signals indicating where the track goes, how long it is, etc. The tracks to the waterfall lookout and rockpool are pretty easy, and the scenery is lovely.
Beautiful rainforest park with great walks, rock pools, falls and a lookout. A great family friendly nature reserve for hiking, walking, jogging and swimming. There is a large rock pool to swim in but be aware that it's deep so you and any children need to be good swimmers or bring some floating accessories. The water is ice cold and lovely on a hot day. We visited on a Sunday and there were too many tourists and locals so the water was murky not clear from sun screen etc floating in it. Downfalls; ACCESS ‍ limited abilities access, hundreds of stairs and NOT ACCESSIBLE if you are on wheels or have assisted mobility. CAUTION; DO NOT HEAD DOWN THERE WITH A PICNIC AS WE DID. THERE ARE LOVELY COVERED TABLES AND BBQ AREAS. ONCE YOU GET THERE WARNING SIGNS OF KOOKABURRAS ATTEMPTING TO STEAL FOOD. These warnings should be in the car park when you arrive THE KOOKABURRAS SWOOPED DOWN AND ATTACKED US TWICE JUST ATTEMPTING TO OPEN FOOD SO WE GAVE UP AND RETURNED OUR FOOD TO THE CAR. THIS WAS AGGRESSIVE AND ASTOUNDING AT THE SPEED THAT THIS OCCURRED!! THEY WILL INJURE YOU!! HUMANS; This is a result of us FEEDING native birds and animals, DON'T DO IT.
Beautiful easy walk with views and waterfalls. Visited on a winter morning and the weather was amazing . Not enough to swim tho. After the walk you can visit Montville and stop for a coffee, lunch, gelato, visit different galleries or buy souvenirs.
Beautiful to explore and have a picnic after. We did the whole circuit which took 1.5hrs, kids are 13 and 17 and had no issues. The rock pools are beautiful and the picnic area was relaxing after the walk. Recommend going early to miss the crowds - both for parking and for the rock pools.
Fantastic walking tracks through a variety of forest types and eventually getting down to the falls which are quite spectacular. Can be busy, so try to go early to avoid the crowds.
