Buderim Forest Park

Great day out for the more advanced adventurers as the easy board walk suddenly changes to a much more rough and roughed goat track terrain. Atmosphere simply amazing is the best way I know how to put it. You'll just have to check it out for yourself, and just remember towards dusk the mosquito world takes over.

Seriously a hidden gem! OK swimming, but fantastic wading pools. So cool on a hot day. Walk down is quite steep so don't attempt unless you're of average health.

Colour blindness took away some of the beauty but it was a cracker of a walk. Not much temptation for running, climbing, or any adrenaline for that matter. I mean, the only snakes I saw were non venomous.. Beautiful and relaxing though

This is a great little park, though parking is scarce here. The Boardwalk is currently damaged in parts so you have to traipse through mud and puddles and walk on rocks to cross the creek to get to the waterfalls. It's still worth doing though... If you can get a park!

Great walk to the waterfalls. The bridge was broken however this time and they haven't fixed it as per today so people just crossed the obstacle to be able to walk. The walk isn't too difficult but you need to be able to negotiate some slippery rocks. We went there with a 3 year old and she managed however. A minimal fitness level is required for the length of the walk. Waterfall is beautiful, bring a small picnic, bathers and towels.
