It's quite a scenic campsite. The beach is very close to the camping area and it's wonderful. There will be some wallabies and kangaroos in the early mornings too. To get there you'll be taking a very short ferry ride, and when you get there you'll see that there are a lot of things you can do around the area since there's a retreat/recreation place there.

Nice location but amenities were so dirty. We dreaded using toilets and showers, the smell made you sick. The toilet seats are dirty, peeling and stained and the showers dirty. We saw them get cleaned once in our 4 days and they looked and smelt no cleaner. The location is amazing and very private and the beach is beautiful but we pay for the amentities and these were terrible. For a site this large with this many guests they should be cleaned each day. Quite disappointed. We see they are upgrading the facilities, we might come back and give it another chance but it's unlikely.

Great location, perfectly on the beach, open and relaxing once your unpacked .. that’s until you meet the superintendent’s, I have travelled extensively and never met a park so strict, read the rules twice, memorise them as you will be quizzed, sms’ed to remind you and charged of high treason if you dare to unpack your 2nd car or arrive 5 minutes late. Bring lots of $1 for showers that are sometimes hot, and make sure you stay under 5km and arrive before the gates shut and are locked. Sometimes when your done something too long and its a chore you should do something else, our friendly advise to the current owners.

Great spot on the beach but the place is filthy and totally run down. Bags of rubbish lay in one spot for the 5 days I spent there with the crows getting into the rubbish and spreading it arround with no attempt by the managers to clean it up. The roads in the park are a disgrace. My small van bottemed out just inside the front gate. Almost needs to be an offroader. There was filth and runbish arround the ammenities block and office block. Unrepaired outside plumbing. Bins of hand towel paper not cleaned out for up to three days in ammenities. Shower controllets not working properly. Ammenities not cleaned daily. There is very poor lighting in the park and no lighting along the paths leading up to the ammenities block with the result ladies have to run the gauntlet in the dark or have to carry torches to get to the showers and toilets at night or just not go during night hours. There appears to be little or no ground maintenance at all. The test and tag stickers on some electrical equient was 5 mounths out of date. This is a major breach under state law. For this to be done by the flashy Noosa Council is unbelieveable. Who the hell is running this park. The onsite managers need a rocket under them to get off their fat bums in the office and get out and do what they are paid for in running this park. I have been there many times before and find it disappointing to see what used to be a nice park so badly run down. Noosa Caravan on the Noosa river is light years ahead of this dump for similar prices with far more things going for it. The place is so filthy it could become a health department issue. Stay away untill it sorts itself out

Next to the pristine coastline. Big open campingground, so you can choose a spot you like. Friendly staff. Many kangaroos, colorful parrots and goannas. In the morning you can see the stunning sunrise . In the night you can sleep with the sound of rolling waves ... However the amenities are not satisfactory ...
